Manual Osteopathic Therapist | Integrative, Somatic-Informed Care

  • Manual Osteopathic Therapist registered with CMMOTA
  • Non-Registered Massage Therapist

Integrating 20+ years of body-based therapies, holistic healing approaches, and client education

Julie integrates over 20 years of experience as a body-based therapist, bringing together manual osteopathic therapy, massage therapy, nervous system wisdom, yoga, movement, and holistic techniques to support recovery, maintenance, and resilience.

By design, our bodies, cells, nature, and cycles of life reflect a creative flow that is expansive, continuously evolving, and mysterious. Ever since she can remember, Julie has been fascinated with natural remedies, plants, energy, and the universe at large. She believes healing is an evolving concept, just like forms of treatment and self-care.

Julie completed the Manual Osteopathic Therapy program through the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada in December 2022, graduating with honours. MOCC is recognized and licensed as a Type 2 World Health Organization benchmark program. Her osteopathic training provided an expansive period of growth in knowledge and skills, integrating well with her massage therapy background and holistic approach to healing.

Julie’s toolbox holds a wealth of knowledge from more than 20 years of experience in bodywork, natural health, yoga, movement medicine, self-development, and somatic studies. Most recently, she has expanded into somatic awareness, touch, and exercises, providing further opportunities to evaluate, explore, and retrain patterns in the nervous system. Her courses include Trauma Informed Somatic Intelligence, Trauma Imprint Repair processes, and Hanna Somatic Exercises.

Julie is a member of the Canadian Massage & Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association and provides emailed receipts for all sessions so clients can submit claims with ease.

Julie takes every opportunity to breathe deeply, dance, hike, bike, and immerse herself in the beauty of the Okanagan.

She looks forward to sharing her gifts and continuously evolving skills with clients at Tidal Elements.
