Jen de Bourcier

RCST®
Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist

Jen grew up on a family farm in the Nicola Valley where she was steeped in the cycles of nature and the seasons.  After meeting her husband while living on Vancouver Island for ten years,  they moved to the Vernon area and raised 3 adventuresome children on a rural property outside of Lavington. They have a hobby farm and a large garden that she enjoys immensely. Jen values her close friendships and relishes the connection with the wonderful women in her life.

Over the years, Jen began to wonder about chronic symptoms she was experiencing. Brain fog, fatigue, anxiety, pain flare ups, skin flare ups, and nervous system dysregulation plagued her, and caused disruption to her life.

Jen happened to attend a Feldenkrais class and she glimpsed something her system had been looking for.  She booked a one on one session with the instructor, who was skilled in Feldenkrais, touch and somatic modalities. The ensuing sessions supported her immensely, particularly towards nervous system regulation. Jen’s journey back to regulation and herself began in earnest.

Through this experience, Jen came to know with certainty that Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy was the direction she wanted to go with her career. She graduated from the 2 yr. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy training in Oct. 2024, and also began her 1st year of Somatic Experiencing training in 2024.

Jen continues to be fascinated and inspired by the breadth of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, and the impact it can have on one’s wellness. She observes BCST supporting many of her clients in a myriad of ways.  She looks forward to supporting you on your journey as well.
