Don Griffis
DOMP, MMQ
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Master of Medical QiGong
Don is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who joined Tidal Elements Healing Arts Studio in 2024. He graduated in 2012 from the Canadian School of Osteopathy – Manual Practice – Vancouver Campus, after a five-year education, and went on to practice in Vancouver for eight years — always fully booked and with an extensive waitlist. After making the move to Whitehorse and then to Invermere, where he ran successful private practices, Don relocated to Vernon to enjoy its outdoor recreation, lake and mountain lifestyle.
An athlete himself, Don’s background is in sports medicine, and he has worked with teams for over 30 years. However, his valuable experience and continued education brings his expertise to a wide range of treatments, including work with post-concussion and post-trauma patients. He has treated a wide range of people, from 6 weeks old to 85 years old, and is committed to helping his clients achieve their goals and live better, healthier lives.
Don is passionate about travel and learning, so that he is continually enriched and educated — and he looks forward to bringing this to every treatment he gives.
Don will be working Tuesdays, Thursday and Fridays primarily morning and afternoons – (to be confirmed with Katherine) – offering Manual Osteopathic treatments ranging from musculo-skeletal, visceral, cranio-sacral, circulatory, advanced cranial work, Medical Qigong and various advanced palpatory treatments.
