Osteopathy is a safe and effective patient centered manual therapy which works in combination with the individuals own homeostatic mechanisms to help restore balance and optimal health. It works with the understanding that the way the body is able to function is inseparable from the way it is structured.

Clients are treated in thin, stretchy clothing that allows for ease of palpation and movement. Osteopathic Practitioners support the body’s ability to restore and maintain health by using skilled palpation and gentle manual techniques to influence muscles, joints, nerves, connective tissue, circulation and internal organs. Osteopathy is drug and surgery free. It optimizes the body’s ability to heal itself and achieve balance.

Osteopathic Practitioners can help all ages if you are experiencing problems such as:

  • Neck and back pain and tension
  • Headaches
  • Sleep or energy issues
  • Sports injuries
  • Concussion
  • Injuries from car accidents
  • Repetitive strain injuries
  • Joint or muscle pain
  • Digestive, respiratory or menstrual problems
  • Pre and post-natal support
  • Jaw dysfunction
  • Post surgical care (ie. Joint replacement surgery)
  • Colic, plagiocephaly, torticollis, and sleep disorders in infants and children
  • Also great for mothers during and post pregnancy
