Yoga & Spacial Dynamics®
Rachel Wyatt is delighted to bring the practices of Yoga & Spacial Dynamics® to Tidal Elements Healing Arts Studio! Rachel’s approach to movement education and movement therapy is both compassionate and objective… deep, intuitive and playful! She shares practical tools for preventing burnout and for accessing the resources that are available within us and around us. Her public and private classes are a movement journey where subtle shifts can open up spacious new possibilities.
Before becoming a movement educator and movement therapist, Rachel was a performing artist and a clown in the circus (with world class companies like Cirque Du Soleil). She began practicing yoga and meditation in 1999. In 2003 she traveled to Mysore, India to study Ashtanga Yoga with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. In 2009, she completed a 200 hour teacher training in Ashtanga with Rameen Peyrow, in 2011: a 200 hour teacher training in Anusara with Chris Chavez, as well as a Restorative teacher training with Chris Manansala. She holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Alberta, an MFA in Interdisciplinary Performance from UBC Okanagan (Thesis – “Room To Breathe: A Retreat For Educators”) and now runs a thriving Performing Arts Program for children at the Vernon Community Music School. She is currently completing her fifth year of training in Spacial Dynamics® with Jaimen McMillan. Rachel is thankful to share each new day of learning and loving with her joyful husband and magical daughter!

“Activity can either deplete or invigorate. Spacial Dynamics® teaches how to avoid movements that drain and cause strain, in order to move towards greater strength and revitalization.” – Jaimen McMillan
