In ancient times, Shamans journeyed to the spirit world to gather information from their power animals and spirit guides.  The messages they received brought healing to the tribe, foretold danger, and indicated where food could be found.  Although we exist in a different place and time than our ancestor Shamans and Medicine people, we are still connected to the spirit realm.  The guides are there and available to help us with our deepest questions.  They are just waiting to be asked.

Shall we journey to the spirit realm with a heartfelt question and seek guidance from our power animal?

Through journal writing, art making, and moving prayer we will express the essence of our journey and in this way, embody the guidance we have received.
