Postnatal Return to Fitness Fundamentals – 6 week series

Kicking off 2022 with a 6 week Return to Fitness – Fundamentals program for the mamas of Vernon area!
I am a mother to a 2 year old daughter and a Pre/Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist. My passion is helping mothers return to fitness, find their new identity and feel strong again in their post baby bodies. We’ll do this in a progressive, controlled environment. Addressing muscular imbalances after babies, breathing strategies, pelvic floor dysfunction (peeing yourself when sneezing/laughing is common but not normal), diastasis recti, core rehabilitation and much more. We will work towards healing, building a solid foundation and master fundamental movement skills to create lasting change.
I believe that the way to the heart is through the body. By reintroducing movement, we can create shifts we need mentally. I ended up here professionally because I personally didn’t get the support, advice and help I needed through early postpartum stage returning to the fitness that I loved so I understand where you are at! We are in this together! This will also be an opportunity to connect with mamas in the community.
There are very limited spots, to ensure this is covid friendly so please register asap if you are interested open to early postpartum with clearance from doctor for exercise or further along with a desire to return to fitness safely. Babies welcome (before crawling stage).
Extras: You will receive a Postnatal Care Booklet of the exercises learned together and a 15 minute personalized consultation call with Kate before the series to share any goals/concerns. This will be a safe, supportive space.
Location: Tidal Elements Healing Arts Studio, 3410-B 31 Ave, downtown Vernon
Date/Time: January 18 – February 22, 2022 at 12pm start time. 1 hour sessions.
