Acro Yoga

January 30, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until January 31, 2016

A workshop built to provide an understanding of how we fine-tune our foundational practice, look at transitioning through postures and learn to play with one another!

(Jan 30th, 9:00am-12:00pm)

Using techniques and developing skills that help strengthen the building blocks of our Acro Yoga and movement practice.

(Jan 30th, 1:30pm-4:30pm)

Creating the conscious ability to embody the connection that Acro Yoga provides by moving smoothly from one posture to another.

(Jan 31st, 9:00am-12:00pm)

We set the scene for everyone to use their imaginations and play with one another by using our Acro practice to guide our path. You’ll also get the chance to learn a flow created by your teachers 🙂

YAY, Let’s Play!

TAMI LYN – Tami’s enthusiasm and energy is infectious. Her fuel for teaching and love for acro yoga are one of the same as she teaches from her heart and from her own experience, making you feel like you are being led, not in a workshop by a teacher, but in yogi play time with a friend.

Emphasis on community is at the core of Tami’s workshops, fostered by creating a safe space for her students to be comfortable to trust, share and play. The change in rhythm of her classes from dynamic acrobatics to quiet, partner massage work is seamless. The end result is that everyone in the room finds an edge to tap into and with Tami’s guidance and commitment to a safe practice, she allows other to break out of their shadow and into their light.

MILES KROEKER – Constantly intrigued by fine tuning all of his senses to explore the unique qualities of the world around us. As a personal chef, trainer and acroyoga/calisthenics instructor he loves to move his body and push his mental capabilities to the edge.

Working with others to share, learn and grow together and discover our hidden potential of movement is how he has chose to dedicate his life.

Come and play! You’re in good feet 🙂
